We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated, and emotionally intelligent individual to join a supportive team in the education and training sector as a School Mental Health Assistant at a forward-thinking school in Kempston. The Role:
Support students with SEMH challenges, both in and out of class
Work 1:1 or in small groups to develop emotional regulation and coping strategies
Collaborate with SENCOs, educational psychologists, and pastoral staff
Foster a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel understood

Degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field
Empathy, excellent communication skills, and a non-judgemental attitude
Previous experience working with young people or in a care setting is desirable, but not essential
Ability to commute to Kempston.
