They are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team for a long-term role starting in January 2025. Role Description:As a Science Teacher at the school, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work closely with a supportive team of staff and be part of a school community that values academic achievement and personal growth.   • Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring that all students achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the science curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in a science-related subject.
  • Passionate about teaching science and inspiring students.
  • Experience teaching science at secondary school level (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to cater to the needs of all students.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
