We have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Teacher to join our team at a special educational needs school in Stoke-on-Trent, Blythe Bridge.
As a Secondary Teacher at this school, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 11-18 to achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence and inspires a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
– Evaluate, document, and report on the growth, achievement, and development of students in your class.
– Provide engaging lessons that help students meet high academic standards.
– Establish strong relationships with parents, governors, teachers, and students to support the school’s operations.
– Support whole school improvement by ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
– Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
– Possess successful DBS and safeguarding clearance.
– Have a secure understanding of the national curriculum.
– Demonstrate resilience and effective behaviour management skills.
– Show an appetite to challenge and inspire enthusiasm and confidence in others.
