Section 20 ProcurementCoordinator

Salary up to £27,408

Permanent, Full Time

35 hours per week

Youll be responsible for managing and coordinating the full Section 20 consultation process for investment, building safety, and compliance works. Youll make sure statutory notices are issued at each stage and that appropriate costs are recovered from leaseholders for investment, building safety and compliance projects. Youll be the key point of contact for all Section 20 matters, helping to ensure a clear, compliant, and customer-focused approach throughout.

What youll be doing

  • Overseeing the entire Section 20 consultation process, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures
  • Preparing and issuing all statutory notices, including Notice of Intention, Notice of Estimates, and Notice of Award
  • Gathering and reviewing contractor and supplier quotes to ensure value for money and service quality
  • Reviewing internal systems to confirm all leasehold properties are included in relevant projects
  • Undertaking site visits and inspections where appropriate to support consultation and engagement
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all Section 20 queries from colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Working closely with Asset colleagues, teams across the business, and external partners to ensure joined-up delivery
  • Using data and insight to inform decisions and make recommendations for service improvement
  • Managing escalated customer queries and complaints, taking a solution-focused approach and using feedback to drive improvements
  • Confidently challenging colleagues where service delivery for customers does not meet expectations, and giving and receiving feedback constructively

What youll need

  • Knowledge of the Section 20 consultation process and associated leasehold legislation
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, with a strong commitment to service quality
  • A solid understanding of property construction and investment projects
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including bespoke databases and Microsoft Office
  • Confidence in making decisions using business intelligence and data insight
  • Strong communication skillsboth written and verbalwith the ability to clearly explain processes and outcomes
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied and reactive workload
  • Experience building effective relationships across teams and with external stakeholders to resolve issues collaboratively
