The role – SEN Teaching assistant
The successful SEN Teaching assistant will be required to support students with SEMH, ADHD and ASD with their learning, providing support and learning materials to cater for specific abilities.
You will require prior experience or training in trauma and attachment
Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, assisting with learning tasks and promoting their inclusion in classroom activities.
Build a trusting and positive relationships with students and communicate according to their understanding
Provide emotional support and encouragement to help build students resilience and confidence.
Under the guidance of teaching staff, provide feedback to students, parents and carers about their progress, achievements and any potential issues.
