Job Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Pay: £90 – £100 per day (based on experience)

About our Partner School:

Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Exeter offers personalized education for students with complex needs, including those with EHCPs. The school provides a bespoke learning experience with one-to-one support, using a trauma-informed approach to help students succeed.

The curriculum focuses on core subjects like English, mathematics, and science, along with PSHE. Students engage in both on-site lessons and community activities, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support for students with SEN within a trauma-informed setting
Work closely with teachers to implement and adjust personalized learning plans
Create a safe, nurturing environment to support students’ emotional and social development
Adapt resources and activities to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students
What We’re Looking For:

Passion for supporting young people with SEN
Education or care experience (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience
Must have Full UK Drivers License and access to own car
