SEN Learning Support Assistant – Eastbourne

Location – Eastbourne, East Sussex

Contract – Full-time, part-time options available

Salary: £86 – £110

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in both one-on-one and group settings, ensuring individual learning plans are followed.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify lessons and activities to meet the diverse needs of SEN students, promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Support the development of social and communication skills, helping students to interact positively with peers and staff.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, providing regular feedback to teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents.
To succeed in this role you will be:

Experienced working with children with a wide range of additional needs.
Local to Eastbourne or able to reliably commute.
Adaptable in facilitating the progress of children with diverse circumstances.
Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential.
