Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in South Liverpool is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist SEN base full-time from September.

The Role:

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs within a dedicated SEN resource base. You’ll work as part of a skilled team to help children access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties

Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored interventions

Assist with personal care and emotional regulation where required

Adapt learning activities and resources to suit individual needs

Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning space

About You:

Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or specialist setting (essential)

A patient, resilient, and compassionate nature

Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude

A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or similar) is desirable but not essential
