SEN Learning Support Assistant – Sutton
Location: Sutton, London
Salary: £23,400 – £28,600 per annum
Start Date: Immediately
Contract: Full-time, for the full academic year

This is a full-time position starting immediately, offering long-term consistency for the full academic year.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN
*
Assist teaching staff with lesson preparation and classroom management
*
Promote positive behaviour and learning outcomes
*
Support pupils’ emotional and academic development in and outside of the classroom
*
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and support teams
Requirements:
*
Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths
*
Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
*
Previous experience assisting in a classroom, particularly with SEN pupils
*
Strong verbal and written communication skills
*
An empathetic, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning
