Description

Progress Teachers are working to appoint three dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistants to support a local mainstream secondary school in ensuring the best provision possible for pupils across KS3-KS4 with varying SEN and SEMH requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Supporting class teachers / the SENDCO with day-to-day tasks

* Following the school’s rules and implementing the school’s ethos and values

* Being enthusiastic and promoting high expectations for pupils

* Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups

* Attending CPD to help you develop professional tools necessary to support a range of pupils with diverse SEN or SEMH requirements.

* Building and maintaining a positive relationship with students, whilst being a resilient character

* Looking after student’s physical, social, and emotional welfare
