THE ROLE- SEN TA
Being a SEN TA, you will look after the child’s physical, social and emotional welfare; to enable they makes the best progress as possible. The role will require you to support a student with special needs, who would benefit from someone nurturing and warm. You will look after the child’s physical, social and emotional welfare; to enable they makes the best progress as possible. This role involves helping in the classroom and with personal care tasks, including toileting. Also, monitoring and recording their development throughout the academic year and help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment for the child.
THE SCHOOL-SEN TA
The school the staff work to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment and has a strong Christian ethos but also celebrates the many cultures and backgrounds from which the children, families and staff have come. The primary school consists of 308 pupils, ages 3 to 11. You can travel to the school by public transport, as there are a few bus routes and a couple stations nearby. In May 2021, they were awarded a rating of ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
