SEN Teaching Assistant (Challenging Behaviours)

This full-time, permanent role is based in a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Harrow, London, starting in September 2025.
About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who may display challenging behaviours due to their unique needs. Collaborating with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff, your role will focus on creating a safe and structured environment where students can thrive. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
• Assisting in the development and execution of personalised education plans (IEPs).
• Building strong relationships with students to foster trust and engagement.
• Supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
This role is perfect for someone who is patient, resilient, and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.
