SEN Teaching Assistant
Area: Kenilworth, Coventry | Day Rate: £90-£100 | Hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) | Start: ASAP
Contract: Long-term to Perm
Long Term Futures are currently seeking a patient and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our Ofsted ‘good’ two-form entry infant school in the Kenilworth area. This role involves providing 1:1 support to two boys in a Year 1 class – both with ASD, attachment difficulties, and SEMH needs – focusing on developing their social skills and emotional regulation. This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, attachment needs, and SEMH.
Previous work in UK Primary schools, with knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum.
Skilled in providing 1-1 support and running small group interventions.
Strong behaviour management strategies to create a safe, nurturing environment.
Confident in tracking pupil progress and supporting individual learning plans.How to apply:
