Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Barking
Pay: £90-£105 per day
Start Date: January
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to become permanent)

Are you passionate about helping children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Dagenham, working in a school that values inclusive education.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working in schools, with an understanding of the daily challenges and rewards of working in an educational setting.
Specific experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with knowledge of their unique needs and effective strategies to help them succeed in the classroom.
Experience working with children with complex needs, demonstrating a strong understanding of how to support their learning, emotional, and behavioral development.
A proactive and adaptable approach, able to handle situations calmly and think on your feet.Responsibilities:

Supporting children with special educational needs, particularly those with ASD and complex needs, both in and out of the classroom.
Assisting with academic tasks and adapting materials to ensure they are accessible for all students.
Providing emotional and behavioural support, promoting independence and social inclusion.
Working with teachers and other school staff to create a nurturing and supportive environment.
