About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with students aged 3 to 19, delivering personalised support to address their unique needs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment.
Working Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored one-to-one and group support for students with special educational needs.
Collaborate with teachers and professionals to implement individualised education and support plans.
Create a nurturing environment that promotes students’ emotional well-being and social interaction.
Support classroom management and deliver targeted interventions to encourage engagement and progress.
Adapt to the diverse needs of students, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunities for all.
Requirements
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with students, staff, and families.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students’ development.
