SEN Teaching Assistant – Join Our Supportive Team!
We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, working with children and young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide 1:1 support and assist in small group settings, helping students reach their full potential
– Deliver tailored interventions and support strategies, working closely with teachers and SENCOs
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and confidence
– Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies
– Support students’ academic and social development, building essential life skills
– Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs, facilitating understanding and progress
– Provide pastoral care and emotional support, ensuring students feel safe and valued
– Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers, parents, and relevant professionals

Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN in a school or similar setting
– Relevant qualification in education, childcare, or SEN support (desirable but not essential)
– Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children with diverse needs
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and student wellbeing
– Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and willingness to undergo relevant training

Job Details:
– Job Types: Full-time, Monday to Friday, School Hours
– Pay: £85.00 – £100.00 per day, experience dependent
