Join GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Greenwich! This long-term role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with special educational needs (SEND) in achieving their full potential. The Support Worker role is focused on aiding students with behavioural needs and social emotional mental health difficulties (SEMH). The successful Support Worker will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and emotional development of these students, helping them to overcome challenges and build an inclusive environment.

SEND TA:

Location: Greenwich, London

Position Type: Full-Time

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: £90-110 per day.

About the Role:

Develop and implement individualised support plans tailored to each student’s requirements and assist students in developing coping strategies and managing their emotions effectively.
Promote Positive Behaviour; foster a supportive and inclusive environment conducive to positive behavioural development and Implement behaviour management techniques to address challenging behaviours, encouraging and reinforcing positive behaviour through praise and rewards.
Facilitate Learning: support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities, provide one-on-one assistance with academic tasks, as needed and collaborate with teachers and educational professionals to adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual student needs.
