Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who can support children in an SEN school in the East London area. The SEN school is for children aged 11-18 years with a wide range of learning difficulties needs from Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) to Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). In addition to learning needs some pupils have sensory needs including visual impairments, hearing impairments and multi-sensory impairments; some pupils also have complex medical needs. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location – Redbridge, London Position – SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work – Classroom and SEN support Contract or position start date – ASAP Contract type – Long Term Full time/part time – Full time Rate of pay – GBP90-100 per day Hours – 8:20 am – 4:00pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a similar setting LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
