About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our busy and thriving school in Redbridge, London. This full-time, long-term role offers a unique chance to work one-on-one with students in one of our Additional Resource Provision (ARP) classes, providing essential support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Special Educational Needs (SEN). As our new SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced SEN professionals to provide tailored support, bringing fun and positivity into the classroom. Your main responsibilities will involve one-on-one work with students, assisting with learning activities, and helping maintain an engaging, supportive environment for the children in your care.

Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (preferred).
• Relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs (desirable).
• Passion for working with children and commitment to helping them thrive.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Resilience, patience, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted support to students with ASD and other SEN needs.
• Assist in preparing and adapting learning materials for individual student needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment in the ARP class.
• Work collaboratively with the SEN team, including teachers and therapists.
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
