We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our thriving SEN schools in Maidstone.

Role and Responsibilities: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.
Assisting the class teacher in creating and implementing tailored learning plans.
Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Supporting students with their personal care needs if required.
Monitoring and recording students’ progress and contributing to progress reviews.
Participating in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
