We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. This full-time position involves working closely with teachers to provide tailored support to SEN children, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEN children.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all pupils.
- Support class teachers with planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Encourage positive behaviour and independence in students.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Be empathetic, patient, and committed to supporting the needs of SEN children.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and a team player.
- Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) – desirable but not essential.
