SEN Teaching Assistant:
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely primary school near to Preston. This is a 1-1 role supporting a Year 3 pupil with SEN.

Location: Preston
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8am-3pm
Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
Start date: January 2025
End date: Ongoing
Type of work: Temporary
Full time/part time: Full time onlyResponsibilities:
Managing behaviour positively
Preparing resources and establishing learning areas
Communicating with other members of staff, parents and the SENDCOExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
Team Teach qualification would be highly desired
Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification would be highly desirableTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
