SEN Teaching Assistant – South Liverpool

We are currently working with several welcoming and inclusive primary schools in South Liverpool seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support their pupils in the classroom.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of SEN needs

Assist in developing and delivering individual education plans (IEPs)

Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external specialists

Support pupils with autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and other learning challenges

Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive

About You:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

Essential: Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or educational setting

A caring, patient, and resilient approach

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

An understanding of safeguarding and the ability to follow school policies

A relevant qualification in education or SEN is advantageous but not essential
