Milk Education are recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant who has had experience supporting pupils with SEND within a mainstream setting for a Primary School in the Manchester area to work on a long-term.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and enthusiastic school, where fostering a love of learning is paramount.
SEND Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities:
? Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
? Support the pupil’s consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
? Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
? Deliver catch-up sessions
SEND Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:
? Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
? Must have a passion for education
? Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
? Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
