Location: Near Calverley
Start Date: January 2024
Contract Type: Long-Term Temporary (Tuesday to Friday)
Pay: £90 – £100 per day (Dependent on Experience)

PK Education is working with a wonderful primary school near Calverley that is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to start in January 2024. This long-term, temporary role will see you working Tuesday to Friday, with the potential to make a real impact on the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting a Year 4 pupil with challenging behaviour, particularly verbal outbursts and disengagement. The role will focus on building strong rapport, positive relationships, and helping to manage behaviours in a supportive manner.
Assisting in Reception class with provision and phonics, providing support to young learners to develop their early literacy skills.
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all children have the opportunity to thrive.
About You:
Resilient and compassionate, with the ability to build rapport quickly and create positive relationships with children.
Experience working with children with challenging behaviours, particularly verbal disengagement, is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them to reach their full potential.
You will be flexible, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.
