The Role:

Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a large secondary school in Chingford, London. This role will involve supporting students with SEND, delivering 1:1 support, and running small group interventions to help them engage and succeed in their education.

The school is looking for a patient and adaptable individual who can build positive relationships with students and provide essential academic and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 support and group interventions for students with SEND
Assist in classroom activities, ensuring students stay engaged and on-task
Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCo to implement personalised learning plans
Provide behaviour and emotional support where necessary, helping students to develop confidence and independence
Adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as an LSA or Teaching Assistant in a secondary school
A strong understanding of SEND and experience supporting students in 1:1 and small group settings
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A positive and proactive approach to working with students with diverse needs
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

Additional Information:

Full-time role, Monday to Friday
Paid up to £110 per day, term time only
Based in Chingford, London, with excellent transport links
