SEN Teaching Assistants – Support Students and Make a Real Impact in Tamworth
Pay: £88 – £92 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025 available
Day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Communities Academies Trust to recruit SEND Teaching Assistants for schools across Tamworth. These flexible opportunities span both primary and secondary settings and offer the chance to truly change lives by supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Your Role Will Include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEN, helping them access the curriculum
Working with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning strategies
Helping students stay engaged and focused throughout the school day
Supporting behaviour management and fostering a calm, inclusive learning environment
Assisting with students’ emotional, physical, and academic development
Reporting on student progress and concerns to relevant staff and safeguarding teams
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar role supporting students with SEN
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, patient, and adaptable with the ability to manage varied needs and behaviours
