Vibrance has exciting opportunities for a Senior Activity Worker to join our team in Waltham Forest.
You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. In return, as our Senior Activity Worker you will receive a competitive salary of £25,558 per annum.

About the Senior Activity Worker role:
Vibrance Day Services provide a community-based day service for Adults with Mild to Severe Learning Disabilities, this service is based in E17, our clients participate in community-based activities such as swimming, bowling, bike riding, parks, cinema, Boccia, trampolining etc.
As a SeniorActivity Worker, you will be supporting clients, empowering them to access the community in a meaningful way whilst meeting a range of physical and sensory needs.
You will need a good understanding of Microsoft Office & Teams. Supervision of staff and service planning will be a part of your role. You will therefore need to be able to demonstrate experience of working with people with learning disabilities and a good understanding of supervision, support planning, risk assessments and evaluation of plans.
Applicants need to demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of empowerment and choice to individuals and their independence.
We particularly welcome drivers who are willing to Drive Day Service vehicles on occasions. Staff have the added benefit of working office hours rather than conventional shift patterns. The timings are largely ‘office hours’ Monday-Friday, but some early evening work may be required.
Skills and experience of our ideal Senior Activity Worker:
- A caring, patient nature

- Experience of carrying out formal risk assessments for and with service users
- Experience with reviewing service plans
