Salary: £26,800 – £28,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
Hours: Part-time (28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday)
About the Role
You will provide essential personal administrative support, manage key events, and oversee social media engagement. Your responsibilities will be diverse, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while playing a crucial role in organising high-profile civic functions.
Key Responsibilities:
PA & Administrative Support: Manage diaries, schedule meetings and appointments, respond to invitations, and maintain records.
Event Coordination: Plan and oversee all events, from inception to completion, ensuring smooth operations.
Community Engagement: Develop creative event concepts and promotional campaigns to engage the local community.
Marketing & Social Media: Manage the organisation’s online presence, updating the website and running engaging social media campaigns.
Customer Service & Front of House: Act as the first point of contact for visitors, handling queries professionally.
Media Relations: Liaise with press and media outlets to promote events and raise the organisation’s profile.
Supplier & Budget Management: Work with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders, managing budgets for successful event execution.About You
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)..
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of coordinating events
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive attitude and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Familiarity with social media management and marketing.
