At Growth Recruitment, we partner with established childrens residential care homes that support children aged 8 to 17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours. Your Role Will Include:

*

Leading shifts and mentoring junior team members

*

Writing and maintaining care documentation and reports

*

Building strong, supportive relationships with young people

*

Assisting with personal development, social skills, and education

*

Promoting positive routines and behaviour management

*

Supporting with activities, outings, and daily routines

*

Collaborating with families, colleagues, and professionals

*

Identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns

✅ What We’re Looking For:

*

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)

*

Level 4 or willingness to work toward it (advantageous)

*

Previous experience in a residential childcare or care setting (preferred)

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*

Resilience, empathy, and the ability to manage challenging behaviours

*

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

*

A valid driving licence (preferred but not essential)

*

Enhanced DBS check (required prior to start)
