We are looking to employ a new SHEQ Administrator to join our team based at our offices in Peterborough.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the master control document process, updating all changes to critical documents within the scope of the March IMS.
Monitor business and quality requirements for external suppliers, ensuring that all suppliers are selected, evaluated and re-evaluated and that records of this assessment are maintained, working closely with the Accounts/Purchasing Manager
Manage the administration of the Non-compliance system
Manage the Customer Satisfaction system, sending monthly surveys out and ensuring returned survey’s are dealt with accordingly
Manage the March Intra-net ISO Objectives Page
Collate “Dare To Care” submissions and liaise with Operations Director
Collate and prepare the SHEQ monthly board pack, ready for SHEQ Managers review
Manage the IMS internal audit programme including verifying planned arrangements are completed and any actions are recorded within the ISO Action Log
Assist the SHEQ Manager with the external audit assessments
Ensure relevant evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and updated monthly. This includes management of the ISO Actions Log
Manage the SHEQ training matrix and E-learning. Including sending out reminders to the management team, holding monthly review meetings and uploading of certificates.
Carry out internal audits in line with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 requirements
Co-ordinate and submit PQQ and Vendor Assurance requests
Assist with updating monthly Toolbox Talks
Update Training matrix with H&S training information
Co-ordinate the H&S element of the on/off boarding of employees – arrange post-employment assessments with our Occupational Health team, issue E-Learning modules and chasing completion as and when required.
Complete the weekly fire tests at Head Office and Fire Drills
First Aider/Appointed Person
Fire Marshal
Support Musk’s wider business activities by flexibly carrying out other duties when required
Deliver March inductions including Face Fit Testing
Manage March assets, completing ladder/step ladder inspections and harness checks
Skills and Experience
Have an interest in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality with a view of progressing to SHEQ Advisor.
Competent in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook
Flexible and proactive attitude in all aspects of the role
Motivated by continuous improvement
Self – driven
Likes to be part of a team
Specific Qualifications
Hold IOSH Managing Safely qualification
ISO internal auditor / ISO lead auditor (not essential)
NEBOSH (not essential)
