This wonderfully warm family run design business is looking for a Showroom / Administration Assistant to support with their growth of business!
The role will be a dual role across two locations – One in Berkshire and one in Middlesex so a car driver is essential.
Sales / Administration
Showroom – The priority of this role is to welcome visitors and be the first point of contact to anyone visiting the showroom. Showing customers around the showroom, answering questions and delivering an excellent first impression. Enthusing customers with what we have to offer and explaining the process. Lead taking – Both over the phone and in the showroom is a key part of this role. Managing sales leads and organising appointments for the designers. Manage Lead Connector – managing the database and remaining in control of appointment requests, customer enquires/questions and organise accordingly. Sales support – Assisting the designers with customer presentations when required. Ensuring customers always feel welcomed – offering refreshments. Answer phones – Handle general queries from customers & fitters. Finding out as much detail as possible, transferring to the correct person. Continual Training – To increase product knowledge, learn about new products, become an expert in Neff, Sheraton etc.
Admin:
Manage calendar and emails – Updating calendars, scheduling meetings/appointments, answering general enquiries sent to all mailboxes including own. Emailing customers, colleagues and suppliers. Familiarise yourself with what is going on each week, fits each week, when customers are due in, when we are out on visits to customers. Liaise with customers and fitters to ensure smooth running of fitting jobs. Liaising with suppliers – Find out delivery times, confirming installation dates/times. Organising thank you cards and flowers for customers. Open post and distribute as necessary.
Take payments by card and monitor what’s coming into the bank.
Assist with customer paperwork/ordering as required. Assist with IT issues and liaise with our IT support when necessary. Filing invoices/paperwork away. Keep up to date with supplier promotions and ensure customers are sent the correct details. Assist customers when necessary.
We are looking for someone who is well presented, has excellent communication skills and enjoys being around a busy and fast paced industry!
Experience:
Proficient computer skills.
Outlook, Excel, Word.
Customer service skills.
Working hours:
Full time working between both showrooms according to the needs of the business.
Working hours are 9:00– 5:00
2 Saturdays to be worked a month, alternated. With a day off in the week.
Basic (£25-£28k depending on experience) & commission on sales after probation period. On target earnings, between £2-3k.
