Solution Architect

Harvey Nash’s client is recruiting for a Solution Architect on a 12 month contract. You will be responsible for leading the development, documentation, and ratification of architecture patterns including patterns for event-driven architecture, bulk data movement, cloud-native services, and secure data handling. You will also act as a subject matter expert for architecture patterns and coach development teams in implementing these patterns effectively, and drive the adoption of architecture patterns and best practices across the development teams, ensuring consistency and alignment with enterprise standards.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Significant experience in solution architecture, systems design, or enterprise architecture
• Deep understanding of architecture patterns, with the ability to balance trade-offs between scalability, performance, security, and cost.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex architectural ideas to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a track record of innovative solution design in complex environments.
• Confident demonstrating proficiency and knowledge in programming language of their choice.
• Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) is big plus.
