Qualiteach Yorkshire are currently looking to recruit an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist school in Leeds.
The school are seeking to appoint a candidate to work alongside learners with Autism, therefore previous experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs is essential for this post.
Duties of the role:
* Devising sensory activities
* 1:1 support
* Leading small group activities
* Providing feedback to both school SENCo and the Class Teacher
What you will need:
* A range of behaviour management techniques
* To have worked with learners with a range of needs
* The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
* Passion and enthusiasm for working with children/young people with Special Educational Needs
