The role:

As our Stores and Dispatch Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for the smooth and efficient movement of materials in and out of the factory:

Goods In: Promptly book in materials and deliveries, ensuring everything is stored correctly and maintaining a well-organised workspace.
Goods Out: Pack components to a high standard, prepare delivery documentation, and coordinate timely collections with customers and couriers.
Stock Control: Maintain accurate, traceable stock records, perform regular stock checks, and ensure effective storage of raw materials, finished goods, fixtures, tooling, and consumables.
Driving & Logistics: Support material deliveries and collections using the Penta van, planning safe and efficient trips.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in department meetings, highlight improvement opportunities, and engage in cross-training and mentoring.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented team player who thrives in an organised and structured environment:

Experience & Skills: Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
A valid driving licence (essential for van deliveries).
Organisation & Efficiency: Strong ability to manage stock, maintain accurate records, and keep workspaces tidy.
Communication & Collaboration: Works well within a team, proactively engages with colleagues, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
Practical & Technical: Forklift experience (preferred) or willingness to train.
Commitment to Excellence: A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and a can-do attitude.
