About the role: Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? We are looking for an enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and diverse primary school in Colindale, London. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing vital support for booster groups, interventions, and children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will be responsible for creating a positive, nurturing learning environment, assisting students in reaching their full potential. As a Supply TA, your flexibility will allow you to work across different year groups and in various settings, ensuring every day is dynamic and rewarding. Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, especially in primary education.
• Experience working with SEN students or children requiring additional support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, caring attitude and a passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different classes and settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored 1:1 and group support for students in KS1 and KS2, helping them catch up on missed learning and reach their targets.
• Assist with SEN interventions, ensuring students with additional needs receive the care and support they deserve.
• Support classroom teachers with everyday learning activities, ensuring students remain engaged and motivated.
• Work flexibly across different year groups and educational settings, adapting to the unique needs of each student.
• Help create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment where all students can thrive.
