Our adult services programme is looking to expand our offering within our care packages in the Dorchester region. We are looking for a Support Team Leader to join our team in making a difference in the lives of the people we support.
Unfortunately, this is not a position that we can offer sponsorship for, under the skilled worker route.
A day in the life of a Support Team Leader would include:
* Supporting the smooth running of the service, ensuring we promote the growth of the people we support
* Work closely with the Registered Manager, demonstrating best practice
* Providing guidance and direction to colleagues/ new starters
* Continuously reviewing Max care plan ensuring exciting updates and progress are always recorded
* Completing medication audits
* Ordering medication when needed
* Being on call (on a rota basis)
* Managing staff spot checks
Hours of work:
8am – 4pm or 4pm – 10pm
You would be required to work alternate weekends and complete sleep ins.
Our ideal applicant would have:
* Level 2 Social Care (or equivalent)
* Experience with Autism and working with challenging behaviour
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals
* Administration skills
* Good organisational skills
* Able to work flexible hours including sleep ins and on call shifts.
* Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
* A full UK drivers license and access to a car
