Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Colchester. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with various needs, helping them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred support to individuals in their daily activities
* Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
* Support individuals in accessing community activties and services
* Promote independence and well-being in a respectful and degnified manner
* Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to senior staff
* Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, amd other team members
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a support or care role is preffered
* A compassionate and empathetic nature
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* A valid UK driving license is desirable but not essential
* An enhanced DBS check
