About The Role

Support Worker – Llanelli – Full Time -Blaen-Y-Waun 39 hours a week plus sleep ins – Hourly Rate from £11.60 to £12.50 dependent on qualifications and experience

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team and make a difference in the lives of these incredible children.

Your compassionate nature will empower these children as they navigate through challenging circumstances. You will guide them on their educational journey, accompanying them to school and providing unwavering support in their everyday endeavours. A day in the life of working at Priority Childcare includes:

Providing high quality care to the children and young people we support;
Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
Being a positive role model;
Promoting independence by supporting a range of social, school and work-based activities;
Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.You’ll need:

A can-do attitude, resilient nature;
Previous care experience preferred but not essential.
To hold a current valid driver’s license – please note the service is location in a remote location and there is no public transport near the service. It would require driving down some very narrow country lanes to get to the service.
