Waking Night Support Workers – Supported Living Service
Location: Turnpike Lane / Haringey
Hourly Rate: £11.50 per hour
Contract: Part-time & Full-time positions available
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young adults with learning disabilities? We urgently need Waking Night Support Workers to join our dedicated team in a supported living service.
About the Role:
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will provide essential overnight care and support to young adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night. Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring and assisting residents as needed during the night
* Providing emotional reassurance and personal care where required
* Ensuring a safe and secure environment
* Recording and reporting any incidents or changes in residents’ needs
While this role starts with waking night shifts with sleeping-ins, it could transition into Day shifts.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar care role is preferred but not essential
* A compassionate and patient approach to care
* Ability to remain alert and responsive during night shifts
* Right to work in the UK
