We are working with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Telford who are looking to welcome a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to their team. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting students with additional needs and committed to making a real difference in the classroom. You’ll be joining a nurturing team who value collaboration and continuous development.

What you’ll be doing:

Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs

Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

Supporting students with EHCPs to access the curriculum effectively

Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

Offering emotional and academic support to students throughout the school day

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education

Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff

A proactive and flexible approach to supporting diverse needs

Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable)
