About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at [School Name], located in the heart of the Grove area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students in their learning journey, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and working alongside a team of educators to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, providing tailored assistance.
Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Prepare learning materials and resources.
Provide feedback on student progress and contribute to individual learning plans.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children in a classroom setting (desirable but not essential).
A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
A willingness to work collaboratively within a team.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous, though not essential.
DBS check required (or willingness to apply for one).
