About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education, the successful applicant:
Will be looking for a full-time role and have the empathy and compassion required to support young people with barriers to learning.
have experience of working with children on a 1 to 1, group, and in-class basis.
worked with children with ADHD and ODD
They would also like someone who might be comfortable covering full classes in the instance of an absence, though this is something that can be included after gaining more experience in the classroom.

We are currently working with our client school to supply a fantasic teaching assistant, this school has great facilities and resources for the students.
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
Be able to work 1:1 with students who may demonstrate challenging behaviour and who will have Special Educational Needs
Have a warm and caring personality
Have a genuine desire to help students with complex needs
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Have a minimum of 6 weeks relevant school-based experience
Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification
