The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of pupils across a variety of subjects and activities. Your role will involve working with small groups, one-to-one support for pupils, assisting with classroom management, and ensuring that students’ individual needs are met. You will be a key part of our school community, helping to provide a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
Assist with the implementation of individual learning plans.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils.
Help with classroom management, ensuring a safe and focused learning environment.
Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback where necessary.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Assist with general administrative tasks as required.The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children, ideally within a school environment.
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their best.
Strong communication skills, both with children and adults.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to challenges.
An understanding of safeguarding and the welfare of children.
Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
