SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Welwyn Garden City
Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £105 per day (paid through umbrella company)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
An excellent primary school in Welwyn Garden City is looking for a skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
Role Overview:
Supporting pupils with special educational needs in the classroom
Assisting with individual and group learning activities
Helping to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Working closely with teachers and SENCo to implement support plans
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN preferred but not essential
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
