Teaching Assistant – Secondary School
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Potential for Permanent Placement)
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The position begins in September 2025 and will continue through to the end of the term initially, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Role Overview
This position offers a valuable opportunity for individuals looking to begin or develop their career in education. The successful Teaching Assistant will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Encourage student engagement and positive behaviour

Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
A degree (any subject)
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be willing to obtain one)
The legal right to work in the UK
A CV covering at least the last 10 years of employment (where applicable)
