Teaching Assistant- Gainsborough
Milk Education are recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with pupils with SEMH needs in an independent school located in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. This role is to work full-time, on a temp to perm basis starting as soon as possible! The working hours are 08:45 – 16:15 and you will predominently be working 1:1 with students who show disregulated behaviour.

Behaviour Teaching Assistant role & responsibilities:
? Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
? Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
? Create a safe learning environment for pupils
? De-escalate behaviour that challenges through the forming of trusting relationships
SEMH Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:
? Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH.
? Must have a passion for education
? Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
