YourTeaching Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a friendly and forward-thinking school in Tonbridge, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and helping students achieve their best.

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and assist with the development of students’ academic and social skills. You will work closely with students, particularly those who need additional support, and play an important role in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with the delivery of lessons and learning activities, both in the classroom and in small group settings.

* Provide tailored support to students, helping them with tasks, understanding lesson content, and building confidence.

* Support students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities.

* Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning atmosphere.

* Work with teachers to monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

* Assist with the preparation of resources, materials, and classroom displays.

* Build strong, supportive relationships with students, helping them to feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.

About You:

* You should have a genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their learning and development.

* Experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable but not essential.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff alike.

* A proactive and flexible attitude, with a willingness to support the needs of the class.

* Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.

* A team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues.

Desirable Qualifications:

* Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) is an advantage.

* Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

* First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
