About the Role: KS2 Teaching Assistant:

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work with small groups of pupils, providing targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy.

• Support children with SEN, helping them develop confidence and key skills.

• Collaborate closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.

• Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging participation and progress.

• Assist in classroom management and provide general learning support as needed.

Teaching Assistant Applicants Should:

• Have previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with Key Stage 2 pupils.

• Be confident in delivering intervention programmes to support learning.

• Have a patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.

• Be a team player who is eager to make a difference in pupils’ lives.

• Hold a relevant qualification (Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) – desirable but not essential.
