Academics are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Hounslow, starting in September 2025. The school are looking for a Teaching assistant who is able to have a positive impact and give classroom support to both teachers and pupils in KS2 and to help towards their development.
Location: Primary school in Hounslow
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £90-£110 (Dependent on experience)
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and help them reach their potential.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help with supervision during break times and school trips.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential).
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
