Pay: Starting from £89 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Term-Time Only

A welcoming and vibrant primary school in the heart of Newport is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their first steps in education or for experienced support staff seeking a new challenge.

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day activities and lesson delivery

Working closely with ALN (Additional Learning Needs) pupils, offering 1:1 or small group support

Assisting with targeted intervention sessions to help pupils reach their full potential

Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

Helping maintain a safe and organised learning space

We’re Looking For:

Enthusiastic, caring and proactive individuals

A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being

Experience with ALN or classroom support is beneficial but not essential

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A willingness to learn and grow in the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
